8. Mohammad Tamim Ebrahimi (Tamim)

Tamim Ebrahimi is a young global peace practitioner and a current Rotary Peace Fellow at the University of Queensland with over eleven years of experience in the field of peacebuilding, conflict resolution and Trauma awareness. He has a master’s in Applied Conflict Transformation Studies from Pannasastra University of Cambodia and has managed different projects including peacebuilding, Life Skills, Relief, and Positive Parenting projects. 

Tamim worked for the International Assistance Mission (IAM) in Afghanistan and led IAM’s peacebuilding project outreach to mainstream peacebuilding concepts into IAM’s many projects and programs throughout six provinces and regions across Afghanistan, including: Community Development Projects, Mental Health Program, Noor Hospitals, Management School, Female Teacher Education Program (FTEP), and Ophthalmic Technicians Training Program (OTTP). Since 2018, a large part of Tamim’s focus has been on integration of peace education in the public sphere in Afghanistan, where the aim was to mainstream peacebuilding training at schools and universities, beginning in Kabul.
