Perth Christina Rosen is Masters Candidate in International Relations. Her current academic interest focuses on the globalization of migration and the effect it has on notions of citizenship and territorially bounded membership. She is most interested in the recent evolution of the social and political spaces being (trans) formed by migration.  Her AFE with the International Organization for Migration Costa Rica provided valuable substantive knowledge of migration management, organization and protocol in the Central American region. Work with the counter human-trafficking unit for the Costa Rican region urged Perth to analyze macro issues that frame the plight of trafficking victims most notably poverty and gender-issues.
