I anticipate being introduced to a diverse array of experts and practitioners who can serve as mentors and coaches, guiding me in both my academic pursuits and future career endeavours.

One of the most compelling aspects of the fellowship is the prospect of collaborating with colleagues and classmates who share a passion for addressing complex societal challenges. Through engaging discussions and critical thinking exercises, I am eager to explore innovative solutions and processes that can effectively address pressing issues within our country and region.

The guidance of experienced mentors and professors will be instrumental in shaping my development as an effective peace builder and advocate, equipping me with the skills and knowledge needed to lead impactful programs and initiatives within communities, particularly those affecting vulnerable populations such as women and children. In essence, the fellowship program represents a transformative opportunity for me to broaden my horizons, deepen my understanding, and refine my skills as a changemaker in the field of development work.

I have 3 short-term career goals: My primary objective is to secure a position within an international development organisation, leveraging the skills, knowledge, and network acquired during the fellowship. Continue my specialization in Peace building and Conflict Resolution by pursuing activities and programs that involve conflict analysis, negotiations and mediations to foster peace and stability.

Lastly, promote and advocate policy reforms in driving systemic change within national agencies and government bodies and even smaller community bodies to address structural inequalities and promoting human rights.
