Leah Klass graduated from the University of Virginia with Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology and Latin American Studies. She is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish and has lived and worked in the Americas. Her professional experience has been focused on public relations and international marketing within both local government and the private sector settings.  She has volunteered with Partners of the Americas, the Red Cross and a bilingual conflict mediation group and has experience working with international youth leadership programs. She completed her internship in Fortaleza, Brazil where she worked on micro credit programs for women and youth. She looks forward to a future career which will allow her to work helping others to access resources and gain the skills necessary to further their own education and take their futures into their own hands.
