5. Igor Chehouan Fischer – Brazil

Igor is a Brazilian professional with experience in the humanitarian and peace sector. His work includes humanitarian disarmament initiatives and the protection of migrants and refugees at the Brazil–Venezuela border. Most recently, he served as a Field Officer with the United Nations Verification Mission in Colombia, supporting the implementation of the Final Peace Agreement in conflict-affected areas.
Through the Master of Peace and Conflict Studies program, Igor seeks to further develop his theoretical and professional skills to continue working in the humanitarian and peace sector, particularly in post-conflict settings. He also aims to expand his network and gain a more critical and in-depth perspective on peacebuilding and conflict-related issues.
